Individual Design

This is the most unique and effective program we offer!

 

At CrossFit 286, we believe in taking an individualized approach to fitness. Part of that philosophy is offering individual workout programs tailored specifically to the individual and their needs. With this program, you will work 1 to 1 with our coaches as you workout daily! By doing this, you will make the best possible progress and achieve the results you deserve!

No detail is overlooked in this program. We will start with an initial consultation to find out more about you and what goals you have. The consultation will be  followed by 3 assessment sessions where we will learn about what you are physically able to do at the current moment. With information gained during the consultation and assessment, we will then be able to write a fully customized individual program for you that includes 3-6 workouts per week and a nutrition plan. Once you have your program, you will schedule times to come into the gym and work 1 to 1 with your coach on your workout for the day! At the end of every month, you will sit down with your coach and discuss how the month went and identify any area that need to be adjusted so you can accelerate your progress!

Sounds a lot like personal training doesn’t it? That’s because it is very close to personal training! Instead of breaking the bank paying for a personal trainer, you will get to leverage all the benefits of personal training (workouts written for you, nutrition plans, 1 to 1 coaching, etc.), but do so in a small group of other people also doing their own individual programs! Think of it as group personal training (but everyone is doing their own workouts based on their own needs)!

Group Fitness

The backbone of our program are traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength (moving weights), conditioning (running, biking, rowing), gymnastics (body weight movements), and mobility (dynamic flexibility). These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and durations to create unparalleled, long-lasting results.

On-Ramp

At CrossFit 286 we offer a complete one month On-Ramp Program to help new, current, and past athletes learn about CrossFit. One of the reasons CrossFit is unique, as compared to other training methodologies, is the fact that it employs functional movements that closely mimic the body’s natural design and function in our day to day environment.

Our Hatha yoga class offers a meditative “yin” to CrossFit’s high-intensity “yang.” It is the perfect recovery from a workout but also a newly challenging way to further your strength training.
