CrossFit 286 is Northern Virginia’s newest gym (or box as we call it in CrossFit)!
When you come in for your free class, you’ll meet our amazing trainers, discuss your fitness goals, and get to choose between one of the following classes:
Baseline CrossFit: Baseline is performed at an all out sprint to measure your level of fitness and your cardio endurance ie. a short 500m row, 40 Air Squats, 30 Sit Ups, 20 Push Ups, and 10 Pull Ups. This class lays the groundwork for what it means to be fit in different categories — from strength to cardio to total-body conditioning.
Work Out Of The Day (WOD): The “WOD” is the “workout of the day.” Each day a new WOD is created by gym founder Alex El Kordi-Hubbard. The WOD program is a complete method designed to improve strength and conditioning. The WOD can be scaled (adjusted) to provide a suitable challenge for athletes at any level.
*All workouts will be scaled to each individual athlete’s skill level.*
